Redskins fall to Texans, 30-27
The Washington Redskins saw a 13-point lead evaporate in a 30-27 overtime loss to the Houston Texans.
The Redskins put together a fantastic defensive effort in the first half, limiting the Texans to just seven points.
The second half was a different story, as the Redskins couldn’t slow down Houston’s ramped up passing attack.
It also didn’t help that the Redskins scored just seven points in the second half and missed a long field goal in overtime that would have won the game.
The good news is that quarterback Donovan McNabb rebounded from last week’s effort to pass for more than 400 yards.
